Key Instructions for Best Results:
Preparation: Always brush and floss immediately before applying the gel to ensure even coverage.
Application: Twist off the clear cap and attach the mixing nozzle to the syringe. Place a small dot (about the size of a teardrop) of gel into the front-facing part of each tooth compartment in the tray.
Tray Insertion: Place the tray in your mouth, gently tapping to seat it. Do not push the gel out of the tray.
Clean Up: Remove excess gel from your gums with a cotton swab or dry toothbrush to prevent irritation.
Wear Time:
Zoom! NiteWhite: Wear for 2-4 hours, or overnight.
Zoom! DayWhite: Wear for 15-30 minutes.
Post-Treatment: Remove trays and rinse them with cold water (hot water can warp them). Brush your teeth to remove remaining gel.
Storage: Store syringes in a cool, dry place; no refrigeration is necessary, but keep out of extreme heat/sunlight.
Important Tips & Safety:
Pre-treatment: Use a desensitizing toothpaste (e.g., Sensodyne) for 1–2 weeks before starting to build a protective barrier.
During Treatment: Continue using the toothpaste, and avoid brushing with water immediately after, as this allows the active ingredients to remain on the teeth. If sensitivity occurs, skip a day or use the treatment every other day.
We use a digital scanner to take the impression of your teeth.
“A digital impression is the most comfortable way to capture your teeth.”
Instead of using trays and impression material, we use a small handheld camera to gently scan your teeth. There’s no bulky material, no pressure, and no gagging. Most patients find it easy and quick.
Why patients like it:
No messy or uncomfortable material
No gag reflex
Faster appointment
You can see your teeth on the screen in real time
An added benefit:
Once we take this scan, we can reuse the same digital impression to fabricate multiple appliances—such as clear orthodontic retainers or custom night guards—without repeating the process. That means fewer appointments and more convenience for you.
